And after his debut at the Macau Grand Prix with the team just a couple of months ago, Mathison feels he’s found his perfect match.

“I think the team and I are meant to be,” he told UK Clubsport. “We get on really well together and everyone works really hard to make everything happen.

“Danny and Davey are great team-mates to have, and the experience the team has is second to none. So there won’t be any excuses for us not to push on.’

“I feel confident on building on everything we did last year and I think I can get stuck in and push even harder with the Penz13 lads. Everything is in place, they’re giving us all the right tools, so we should be able to mount a strong challenge this year and target top-10s, if not more.”
