Press Release with Daley Mathison and Eddie Stobart Racing.

It is with great pleasure that we can now officially announce Daley Mathison's return to the Billown Circuit for the Steam Packet Southern 100 races.

After his first glimpse of the circuit back in 2010, Daley has always wanted to make a return however, due to conflicting diaries over the years, the opportunity has never arisen before now.

After originally agreeing to ride the Nottingham University (sponsored by  Würth Electronics) electric superbike (as rode at the TT), Daley agreed to also enter the Eddie Stobart Racing BMW in the senior event. 

As a newcomer to the event, Daley is extremely excited and in high spirits to continue his fantastic form following recent results at the Isle of Man TT and also, the Cock o' the North road races at Oliver's Mount, Scarborough.

Daley "Of course I don't expect to be winning races as I'll be learning all over again however, I do remember all them years ago, how I really enjoyed the circuit and hopefully, I can pick up where I left off, finishing the event safely and in good stead for the Ulster Grand Prix. After previous results, expectations are high. I'm currently enjoying my racing more than ever and with such a good package in the Eddie Stobart BMW, the results are coming to me".
